About me

I completed my studies in Darwin in 2005 and initially began working in the not-for-profit sector supporting clients with drug and alcohol problems. Currently, I work with adults on a wide range of concerns. My areas of interest include – anxiety (general, panic attacks, phobias) and depression, developmental (childhood) trauma, addictions, family and relationship problems, developing self-love and compassion, problems with communication and boundaries, sleep difficulties, difficulties with expression of anger, and grief and loss.

I provide a warm and nurturing space that fosters connection and compassion and where clients are invited to explore a deeper understanding of themselves.

My approach is based on a somatic framework. This style of therapy builds on traditional therapies by integrating a body approach that seeks to work alongside thoughts and emotions. I draw upon modalities, such as – mindfulness/embodiment, psychodynamic (building awareness of the link between our childhood and how this shows up in adult life), internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory, and self-havening (processing tool). I also have a background in classical yoga and is teacher-trained.
